The AHANM Doggie Dash and Doggie is this Sunday (Nov 2) at Balloon Fiesta park. The Dawdle is a 2 mile walk around the balloon field (4 laps) with your dog. (starts around 11am. The runs start sooner) There will be lots of folks there and it is lots of fun to see all the dogs.

More information can be found at the AHANM website at http://www.ahanm.org

(You register online through a link found at the website. Or I believe you can register at REI or if all else fails at the field before the walk. Cost is around $25 and you get a cool t-shirt and a goodie bag.)

A few brags from the Bouvier Nationals. I only have a few Rally brags. If anyone else has more brags (like say, oh, I don’t know, perhaps some Bouvier brags, let me know).

From Vicki:

We have a couple of brags!  Buster (tibbie) finished his Rally Advanced title on Thursday at the Bouvier National with a first place.  Audie (sheltie) earned his first RA leg the same day and 2nd place.  On Friday at the Bouvier National, Audie earned his second RA leg with a first place and Buster tied for 2nd place (Added by Lou: And he tied with one of Pat’s standard schnauzers who beat him on time!) We had a great time and applaud Jodie for doing such a wonderful job on the National.

Bonnie & Sheila’s miniature wirehaired dachsund Diva got a Rally Advanced leg on Friday. Ellen handled her for Bonnie and caused great amusement for all. (How fun seeing someone so tall with such a tiny little dog.)  Ellen also made it back into the ring with her ACD Foster and finished his Rally Novice title in fine style with a perfect score of 100 and a first place.

Congrats to all.
