Carole Zieris reports that Tibetan Spaniel Buffy got her first leg for a ASCA CDX at the ASCA trial down in Veguita on Sunday. She did a beautiful job with a score of 194, and a first place. Her Havenese Haley also got her ASCA CD with a 194 and a 3rd place finish. She is now Ch.Prima’s WOW Haley’s Comet, CD, RN, RA, RE, ASCA CD. Way to go Rally Momma!Ellen Rowe’s ACD Logan also finished her ASCA CD title on Sunday. Logan was thrilled to have to go back and do some more heeling (sarcasm mode off).
Judy Carr’s Standard Poodle Spike also picked up a CDX leg ( I think ) And was the hit of the show. He has incorporated a ‘drop on finish’ into many of his tasks. Or he was just too exhausted from adding the extra jump into the figure 8. One thing is for certain, he never lacks creativity or enthusiasm.
From Jeff Robb: La Plata’s Pandita Feliciana (Panda) & I went to the ASCA Obed. trial in Bernardo this past wknd (1/27 & 28) and had a good couple of days. On Saturday we finished our ASCA CDX with a 2nd place in Open B and High Scoring Aussie. On Sunday we placed 2nd in Open B again with a 197. Felt mighty good!
Up in Alaska, Jody Head’s Bouvier Sunny got Best in Show on Sunday. (1/28)
